Bid Spreadsheet

Ven Consulting's estimating team will provide a completed custom home Bid Spreadsheet detailing the anticipated costs of the projects build. Per our complete review and analysis of the Architectural & Engineered Plans, we complete the Bid Spreadsheet by obtaining Sub Contractor quotes/proposals as well as doing internal take-offs. The numbers will include Taxable Construction costs, Non-taxable Construction costs, Taxes, Superintendent costs, and different General Contractor Fee percentages.


Ven Consulting will do a complete review of Plans, as well as organize and incorporate all ASI's, RFI's, and any miscellaneous communication during the bid/estimating stage. Ven Consulting will send out RFI's to Architect on behalf of the customer for clarification needed while bidding projects.

Ven Consulting will provide an electronic Bid Book pertaining to the bid numbers shown on the Bid Spreadsheet. This is an electronic folder system with documents, takeoffs, quotes, and proposals pertaining to each line item shown on the Bid Spreadsheet. These documents are used as backing the budget numbers provided.


Progress Reports

Ven Consulting will have weekly progress reports sent to Client/Customer including work completed, pending bid requests, potential issues, sub-contractor comments & clarifications.


Estimating Meetings

Ven Consulting will attend customer company Estimating Meetings and represent the customer in any meetings deemed necessary.


Sub Contractors

Ven Consulting has a team of Sub Contractors that we work with to obtain numbers with up-to-date pricing. If the customer/client has their own preferred sub-contractors, Ven Consulting will use them and bid the project accordingly.
